A disruption of cultural norms through the empowered depiction of women who defy stereotypes. Through black and white portraits, I portrayed the intersection of strength and vulnerability, offering a nuanced portrayal of the female experience and a juxtaposition to the male gaze.

THE BIG IDEA
I drew inspiration from the leading ladies of film noir, and the resilience of the women in my life. With each muse, I reflected on their relationship with femininity and the unique challenges they face.
The black and white photographs offer a glimpse into a world where femininity meets strength, sensuality meets determination, and vulnerability meets empowerment.
